Our Philosophy

We believe that every encounter brings an opportunity to express our mission:  We are together to enhance health and well-being.  How do we do that? We seek first to understand.  When people feel understood, they are inclined to give their trust.  Only when we have earned your trust do we have the right and opportunity to provide our skill, and judgment and our finest dental care.

It is possible that we may not agree on crucial elements of your dental health and care.  If you want new mercury-silver fillings, we are not going to be a match.  I would wish you well, and I could not be your dentist.  If you want a non-precious metal crown, we are not going to be a match.  If you made an informed choice to have a root canal treatment, I would refer you for that therapy.  That would not be my choice for me, but you would not be deciding for me, nor I for you.

Conversely, if you came to me concerned about the dental materials that you had in your mouth and wanted to have them replaced in an environment that honored protection protocols and replaced those materials with what are determined to be safer materials, we are inclined to be a good match.  My goal is not to convert people from their beliefs to mine.  My goal is to provide the care that I believe in for and with the people that have come to share my beliefs.

I believe that every cell in our body has a Divine intelligence that includes a natural inclination toward a healthy state.  The system itself is self-correcting and self-restoring.  We support people in getting out of the body's way so it can heal.
