You first came to our attention several years ago through a friend suffering from dental problems. After hearing the dangers of conventional dentistry and also having experienced it, we have come to appreciate Biological Dentistry and your knowledge and care. You and your office staff promote an understanding of how important your teeth and what you goes into your mouth are.
Also, your office environment is wonderful. It is a very friendly and relaxing environment. You also promote healthy thinking by offering extremely good drinking water and also a variety of teas while you wait. For those of you that have never had a mercury filling and thought you might never need a “Biological Dentist,” this story is for you.
I suffered with migraines from age 18 until age 53. Six to 12 days a month, I required prescriptions every 4 hours just to survive. It was after years of trying everything and submitting to MRIs and CT scans that it was suggested I might have cavitations where my wisdom teeth were extracted (at age 17). I found THE BEST place to have them addressed. Dr Glaros was not making any claims that the surgery would help in any way. I understood completely. I am pleased to say that it has been a success!!!

For many years I have been a “small yellow canary,” with my physiology reacting to environmental toxins long before documentation was available of adverse influences. My hypersensitivity has been further complicated by having Celiac Disease, a common congenital disease compromising the immune system.
After Dr. Glaros removed all of my silver amalgams, I experienced the greatest improvement to my overall health yet and know removing the mercury will improve my health for the rest of my life. My wife had some problems with her teeth. Rather than multiple root canals as recommended by two other dentists, you were able to save her teeth. Your staff is always professional and courteous. Your abilities are light years ahead of any other dentist we have seen. Those among many other reasons are why we have no problem driving 100 miles to see you for our regular checkups. We’re fortunate to have you as our Dentist. Don’t even think about retiring. You’d be a tough act to follow.

Twenty years of my life was marred by an unknown factor which severely affected my health – a factor which was unknown until I met Dr. Glaros and Dr. Battle. At the age of 24, I received a root canal filled with mercury. Two years later, a cyst was protruding from my gum directly in front of the root canal. The dentist that I was seeing at the time sent me to an oral surgeon who recommended surgery. He peeled back my gums and re-sealed the area around the root canal. Evidently, it was not sealed correctly, and over the next 20 years, mercury slowly leaked into my blood system. My health deteriorated to the point that I sought help, thinking I had dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. Four different doctors ran tests and told me I was fine/normal, but I was slowly regressing to the state of being unable to cope with life. I was an artist who could not paint as I had before. It was difficult to take care of my family or to finish a watercolor, oil or a sketch.
Dr. Battle told me to have the root canal removed, and I did!
Under the care of Dr. Glaros and Dr. Battle, my life is returning to normal. This year alone, in 2012, I have completed 17 paintings – more than the previous two decades! Medical doctors should include tooth and gum questionnaires within their health assessments.

Having had a lot of issues with an old root canal tooth, I did much research on causes of and treatment options. My research led me to Dr. Mercola’s website (www.Mercola.com), where I came across some very enlightening information on “Root Canal Dangers,” and within that article, I immediately recognized my issue. That led me to seek out (as per Dr. Mercola’s advice) a “Biological Dentist” in my hometown of Houston, Texas, which then led me to Dr. Bill Glaros.
I read over the website and felt comforted to know that here was someone who did
not just “treat teeth” but the WHOLE patient from a holistic point of view, which made perfect sense to me and is right in line with my own beliefs about Holistic Health and how the health of the mouth affects the entire body!
I called the office and spoke with a very nice lady (turned out to be Dr Glaros’ lovely wife Joanne) who really took the time to answer all my questions, at which point I decided to set an appointment and go see Dr Glaros.

I ended up needing an extraction of my tooth and was very nervous about it. However, thanks to Dr Glaros and his amazing staff, I felt like I was always in good hands, and everything went really well.

We believe that the advanced dentistry methods used by Dr Glaros these past years have contributed to our continuing good health (we are 76 and 75 years young). Removing all metal and debris from the jaw area, we believe, protected our bodies’ meridians and enabled healing blood circulation at the gum/jaw line. State-of-the-art equipment enabled diagnosis in real time – especially helpful for us, as we travel 250 miles each way to receive treatment and routine cleaning. We feel the trips very worthwhile!

Recently, I had my mercury fillings replaced by Dr. Glaros and his team of assistants. I was really impressed with the teamwork of the professionals working in this clinic. It is clear Dr. Glaros has some very skilled individuals with/for him. They made sure I was aware of every step of the process and ensured that I was comfortable.
