Welcome New Patients

Office of Dr. William Glaros

Our Practice in Spring, Texas

We welcome your telephone calls to our office (281-440-1190) to discuss your dental health interests and needs. It gives us a chance to answer your questions about our office, our doctor, our protocols, and our care. During this crucial communication we will seek to understanding who you are, where you are in your dental care process, and if we believe we can be of service to you. Details of this conversation are very important to us and will be shared with Dr. Glaros and the team before your first visit.

Before Dr. Glaros sees you, we will need a completed health history. You may download the Registration Form if you choose and bring it with you or fax (281-251-3379) the completed form. You may also complete the form the day of your first appointment.

At your first examination visit we insist on current, complete radiographs. We find dental x-rays to be a “necessary evil” in proper diagnosis and treatment. We are pleased to tell you that we use digital radiography (minimum exposure and maximum diagnostic ability) and we will take the fewest images that are necessary.

Additionally, your Comprehensive Oral Exam could include an examination and evaluation of TMJ function and motion, occlusal habits, periodontal condition, and of soft and hard tissues for oral cancer. Only then do we look at teeth and record existing symptoms and types of restorations, decayed or problem teeth, and possible restorative and/or restorative solutions. Often, we use an electronic pulp tester, a laser-assisted, caries detecting Diagnodent, and/or a Cavitat ultrasonic evaluation to assist in our diagnosis.

For people interested in our mercury-safe protocols, we use the amalgameter to assist in sequential removal, please see our menu Mercury Free / Mercury Safe.

Depending on your special needs and interests, it is possible that further testing and/or diagnostic work would be done. That could include referrals outside our office that could be made for compatibility of material testing, meridian stress assessment of teeth and former tooth sites, cranio-sacral therapy, chiropractic evaluation, nutritional counseling, mercury level excretion, Biological Terrain Analysis, etc.

Your visit will be as unique as you are; no two visits are exactly the same.
